Composites Advocacy

ACMA’s Composites Advocacy Program brings together industry members interested in influencing the legislative process.  By becoming composites advocates, industry professionals can join forces to speak with one voice—a strong voice for the composites industry. ACMA has the resources to help you become a composites advocate, including ACMA’s Political Action Committee  (ACMA PAC) and the newly formed Congressional Composites Caucus. To ensure your company’s voice is heard in Congress, make sure that at least one person from your company participates in this program.

Contribute to ACMA’s Composites Advocacy Program

ACMA is advocating for the composites industry, but defending the industry against the proposed reclassification of styrene requires additional resources. Please contribute to ACMA’s Composites Industry Program and help ensure success on Capitol Hill.

  1. Read a letter from ACMA President Monty Felix (pdf)

Composites Advocacy Resources and Programs

ACMA has the resources and programs you need to develop enduring relationships with your Members of Congress.  ACMA encourages you to take advantage of all these programs:

ACMA hosts an annual Lobby Day Fly-In Event, where members from all over the country come to Washington, D.C. to meet face-to-face with their Members of Congress and bring attention to important issues impacting the composites industry.

ACMA PAC

Give a Plant Tour
Arrange for a plant tour for your Member of Congress or their local staff.  Members and staff enjoy meeting voters and local business people.  This is a really great way to develop support for our industry.  For assistance, contact Jonathan Roberts at ACMA, jroberts@acmanet.org or 703-525-0511.

Congressional Composites Caucus
