What is "Filament Application?"The filament application emission factors should be used for resin that is applied to continuous reinforcement using a resin bath.If resin or gel coat is applied to a mandrel or mold using a spray gun (including HVLP, airless-air assist, chopper, flow coater, or impingement gun), or pressure fed roller, then the appropriate mechanical atomized or mechanical non-atomized factors should be used. If resin or gel coat is poured directly onto a mandrel or mold, then the manual resin application factors should be used.
