Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the development and performance of all sales and marketing activities in assigned markets  
  • Directs sales and provides leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values
  • Establishes plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the marketing area, and builds the company image with current and prospective customers
  • Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability

  • Experience with corporate software systems and common software packages
  • Extensive experience in all aspects of Supplier Relationship Management
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
  • Willingness to travel and work in a global marketplace
  • Proven leadership and sales history

Responsibilities:

The major job responsibility is to manage sales to major accounts including international accounts, by providing them with technical and sales support.

  • Seek and grow customer relationships at key managerial levels
  • Support distributor sales representatives at key end-user accounts through correspondence and joint calls
  • Serve as contact for sales and technical questions directed to the company
  • Identify sales opportunities for Company growth with existing products, or new products in line with the Company capabilities and areas of focus
  • Negotiate and communicate quotations for company product offerings
  • Network with industry and business contacts to seek out new opportunities
  • Take the lead at trade show exhibitions to promote and demonstrate products

Requirements:

  • 5+ Years in Sales Management related to the Composites Industry
  • A strong practical knowledge of key molding technologies
  • Excellent communications skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to construct sales and technical presentations, and present them to key audiences
  • Ability to quickly develop and grow personal relationships at managerial levels of key accounts
  • Technical or manufacturing experience in the Composites Industry is a key plus
  • Based in Southern California with International travel required
