Why You Should Participate

Join your industry colleagues for a day of promoting the composites industry in Washington, DC. 2008 is an election year, and our country is at a political crossroads. This is an especially important time for you to help your company and your industry by participating in this important program.

We have a very important message to deliver:

  • Composites manufacturers are small and medium-sized companies that employ people in communities all across the US.
  • Composite products solve important problems, including securing our homeland, building a dependable infrastructure, promoting energy efficiency, and preventing pollution.
  • We compete with products made in many other countries.
  • The Federal Government can make it impossible for us to make innovative products if regulations fail to provide a reasonable balance between costs and actual risk.

ACMA will make appointment for you to visit your Representatives and Senators. You will be accompanied in your visits by other ACMA members and staff who can help you deliver our important message.
