A casual lunch will be served, giving you the opportunity to browse the exhibit hall and explore the latest in composites technology. Both industry suppliers and manufacturers will be on hand to display what is new in the composites industry. Take time to read the poster sessions and talk with the authors. The students will be on hand to answer your questions on their research and to explain their findings.

Networking is a key component of this conference. You will have time to speak with composites colleagues, students from universities around the country, engineers, and industry professionals. This 2-hour reception will be held in the exhibit hall, giving you plenty of time to browse the exhibits and spend more time exploring the poster sessions.
Laboratory Tours

A unique component of this conference is the chance to tour the laboratories of UAB's composite manufacturing, modeling and testing facilities. With student-lead tour groups you will be taken through these impressive labs by students working and studying in them daily. Be sure to ask questions and share your thoughts with the future of the industry.

This competition is designed to offer a forum for students to display the latest developments in nanotechnology, multifunctional and natural materials and composites applications. The poster sessions offer a forum for industry professionals and academia to share ideas. In addition to the educational aspect of this competition, this is an excellent forum for industry and national labs looking to hire graduating students with knowledge and experience in composite materials and applications.
