ACMA's Construction, Corrosion & Infrastructure Conference is Coming to Las Vegas

March 11, 2011 (Arlington, Va.) -  Join composites industry manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, engineers, designers, educators and end-users to examine the future of composites technologies and design at the Construction, Corrosion & Infrastructure Conference (CCI). Presented every two years by the American Composites Manufacturers Association (ACMA), the highly anticipated event will take place May 9-11, 2011, at the popular Caesars Palace in Las Vegas and will focus onDesigning for the Future with Composites.”

Attendees will get the competitive edge as they learn about the next generation of composites and how they can compete against traditional materials to lower costs in the construction, corrosion and infrastructure markets.

A special composites in mineral processing track has been added this year, which will focus on why fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) composites are increasingly becoming the material of choice for both new and replacement equipment in this industry. Special manufacturing and engineering training sessions will also be presented by NACE, a leader in the study of designing with composites where corrosion resistance is important.

More than 30 education sessions will be presented, tackling such timely topics as:

Ample time will be provided to visit the exhibit hall, featuring innovative products in the CCI markets from manufacturers, suppliers and distributors and for networking during lunches and receptions to exchange ideas and experiences with industry leaders throughout the entire value chain.
