On-line Registration Now Open for COMPOSITES 2010 October 12, 2009 (Arlington, Va.)—The American Composites Manufacturers Association (ACMA) today announced that online attendee registration is now open for COMPOSITES 2010, THE Composites Exhibition and Convention, to be held in Las Vegas, February 9-11. Exhibit space is more than 60 percent sold out and more than 100 exhibitors are already on board for COMPOSITES 2010. This year’s show will offer a full range of business, professional and educational opportunities but has now added an additional emphasis on emerging markets, new technologies, environmental issues and equipment efficiencies. “COMPOSITES 2010 is creating an industry buzz,” says ACMA Chief Staff Executive Tom Dobbins. “For the past couple of years, ACMA has heard from the attendees and exhibitors that they want an event that is all-encompassing for the industry and provides information on new innovations, business practices and emerging markets, as well as information on traditional markets. COMPOSITES 2010 is changing to meet the new challenges and needs of the industry,” says Dobbins. In addition to education sessions and technical paper presentations covering a broad range of topics, this year’s event will include a High-Performance Pavilion, Awards Pavilion, six new networking receptions, and demonstrations/presentations on a main stage in the exhibit hall. COMPOSITES 2010 also features a new format that allows attendees ample time for education sessions, networking and the exhibit hall. The annual Awards Luncheon recognizes composites industry leaders and product innovations, as well as provides an overview of ACMA activities and successes in the past year. Two keynote sessions on the economy and emerging markets will be event highlights. COMPOSITES is the largest composites event in North America. The annual event is designed to provide composites manufacturers, end users, suppliers and distributors with the ideas, solutions, education, and networking they need to remain knowledgeable and competitive.
