ACMA Releases 2009 Composites Industry Report

May 27, 2010 (Arlington, Va.) – The American Composites Manufacturers Association (ACMA) this month released its 2009 Composites Industry Report.  The report, which is available to ACMA members, provides the latest statistics on the U.S. composites industry, including end-market uses.

The 2009 Composites Industry Report highlights the total impact of composites production and also provides data on fiberglass thermoset composites shipments by year, market and end-use applications.  Additionally, it highlights sales of composites for markets such as construction, marine, and transportation and the use of composites in windmill blades and sports equipment.

The report is available to ACMA members on the members-only portion of ACMA’s website at http://www.acmanet.org/professionals/statistics.cfm.
