ACMA Responds to Members Requests; CCT-Instructor Course to be Held at SAMPE

April 5, 2005 (Arlington, VA) – The American Composites Manufacturers Association (ACMA) will hold a Certified Composites Technician Instructor course May 4-5 in conjunction with the Society for the Advancement of Materials and Process (SAMPE) conference. The CCT-Instructor course will be held at the Hyatt Regency in Long Beach, California.

“ACMA has decided to run a CCT-Instructor course at SAMPE in response to our members’ requests,” says ACMA Associate Director of Membership & Certification, Misti Murphey, CCT-A. “We feel it is important to capture this area of the country and partnering up with SAMPE seemed to be a good fit,”

Participants interested in attending the CCT-Instructor course must have an active CCT certification or qualify as a professional educator. The two-day course will include the fundamentals of instruction and a review of CCT study material. Applicants will participate in a practicum by teaching a CCT study module to the class and a final exam will be given on the second day of the course. Those who pass the final exam will be certified as CCT Instructors and will be able to teach the CCT course and administer the exam.
